RC-Captain,
For the tank size - 2 oz should work adequately and still fit into the nose. For servos - Hitec HS-81's should be just fine. For hinges - CA, pined or hinge point will work just fine. Monokote hinges should also work OK - read through the Film/Monokote Hinge Rant thread for more on peoples thoughts on hinges. Covering is really up to what ever you like, but you'll have to paint the plastic turtle deck. For the size of wheels and engine mount - wait until your kit arrives and see what they recommend for it. Your gonna really like this kit - the HOB planes are good builders and fliers when you have the experience to handle them.

What? They build like any other size kit.
1 What is the recommended tank size for a .09 size plane ?
I'm an .10 guy myself and would use a 2-4oz tank.
2 servo size ?
I Still got Futaba s133's but I might also use 3110's or as noted HS 81's
3 type of covering to use and not to use ?
If you like films any will do, others wise silk span and dope.
4 hinge tape or ca hinges ?
I prefer a sewn hinge or Robarts pin points. CA hingles if you choose a beefer servo.
5 engine mount , make wood mount or buy plastic mount ?
Glass filled, aluminum or a plywood plate will work fine
6 wheel size ?
1 1/2 - 2" or what ever the plan calls for.

Cap, one question you didn't ask is what receiver battery to use. This is a big deal because a standard 600mah nicd is going to weigh 4+oz. You can knock 2oz off that by going with a 270mah nicd or 3oz off by finding a 300mah nimh. Also, I'd use a light film if possible. Econokote weighs much less than monokote and is easier to work with. Stay far, far away from Black Baron. The only thing it sticks to is itself. Each ounce of weight you shed will pay huge dividends in flight performance. That's the big secret to 1/2a. Keep it light! Don't compromise the structure in the name of lightness. Removing balsa does not effect the final weight enough to matter.
