When they go on ebay they usually go for a pretty high price. I have seen many go for much m,ore money than I am willing to pay...

I have an incomplete kit I obtained from the Bay. Seller refunded part of my purchace price when I pointed out no cowl or landing gear. the kit has fuse sides of lite ply and the wings show wrapping with filament tape tip to tip. That indicates to me, pretty early kit. I like the stagger wing tho.

I will have to use a plastic bottle for the cowl, I think it will be heavy enough to require a .15

That's exactly the same construction as the Ace Simple Ultimate. Ply and fibre tape strapped wings, but I sheeted the wings with balsa instead. I started with a Norvel .15, but switched to an OS .25. Heavy, but loads of fun.

I wonder if a Norvel .15 would do better than that .25 , Not that I have one!

I bet that is a hot performer!

The Norvel .15 spins a smaller prop a lot faster than the OS .25. I went with the .25 to get better vertical.

It was. I flew it for several years and then gave it to the son of a friend. He fibreglassed the wings, spray painted it and plans to use a .40. I'm not too sure how it's going to work out.

Oy!
The Staggerwing went for $51.
I picked up two at the LHS a few years back.
