Worth anything?
I picked this up at a swapmeet last weekend($5.00), I think it was ment for free flight or just an ornament, and right away I thought about making it into an electric flyer by putting some ailerons and an elevator on it, a rimfire motor and some covering.
I'm not sure what type of plane it is(I think it might be a Mustang), but I got 3 others with it for an additional $5 and the guy who put them together said they were warbirds, so i don't know. I'll post some pics of the others.
What do you think?

Without a doubt a P-40. Not sure which variation. A cowl would be helpful. Good luck finding one for it. Unless it might be a Guillows.

RE: Worth anything?
It looks like it was worth five bucks. Unfortunatly Guillows planes are not really designed for RC use. It's been done but they require major modification to get all of your components in there. Planning for the mods is best done before you start building. Also the Guillows kits arn't very robust, one minor mishap is usualy enough to distroy the plane.

4 planes for 10 bucks? Yup, that's worth it even if you do nothing more than hang them in your workshop for decoration.
It may not be worth getting them airworthy, but why not? What good are we as RC fliers if we don't even try to fly something RC? I say go for it and see what happens!
