1/2A Shrike Tips?
Hey.. I just got my first plane... a Shrike! It is almost all built (all done except for the fin mounting areas; still lacks covering, hardware, radio, etc. Are there any tips on balance, flying characteristics, anything, for the shrike?
Thanks!
Thanks!

1/2A Shrike Tips?
Mop,
From my own experience after the fact, the Shrike is very conservative on it's cg placement. Too nose heavy even as recommented on the plans. This leads to lack of elevator authority on landing. I'd recommend moving the CG aft 1/4". Make sure you have plenty of up elevator. That should keep your Shrike alive until you get the CG figured out. Cool airplane.....
Good Luck...... Jeff
