I cant find the thread, but back when I was asking about which .049 I had and you put up a pic and it has a red plastic intake with a carb on top..........from the front of the engine on the left side of the plastic is a nipple.. is that to go to the fuel tank for pressure? or is that to release crankcase pressure or both?.......Rog

okay DUH to me it was in the "how about a design contest" thread....

that is there if you want to get crankcase pressure for the tank. I tried it once on an .09, it really wasn't wort the effort to drill it out, as it caused the engine to flood easy, and a pen bladder would have worked as well. The hole does not go all the way through. you have to rotate crank so intake port is in line with hole, then drill through crankcase and not get any shavings into case, etc. it is mostly for stock engines, yours just has it because they all do.
and if you crash, the plastic nipple breaks off, and you need a new one as it will leak there without tubing on it once it has been drilled...
