Dogbuster, I have this plane currently flying on a norvel 074. This engine seems like overkill. I think the tt07 should work well.

I would stay away from trying to take off from the ground. It has poor ground handling characteristics with only the rudder and elevator, But it is very easy to hand launch. If you like a good looking slow flying high wing that can be sporty if you give it full throttle, you will really like it. Most of the flying i do is a 1/2 to 1/3 throttle.

I don't know about the power, though I suspect it would be fine if you use light radio gear and don't overbuild. But I've watched an electric which flies well with an older brushed motor and nicads, except for one thing--it clearly does not have enough dihedral to turn or roll well on 3 channels. The pilot/builder intends to cut in ailerons. It's either that or increase the dihedral. There just isn't much he can do with it except fly around. Jim
