Default New Cox Rod Tool

This just came out and Iam the first to bring you the test results, It worked flawless, Cox is no longer in the stone age!!!!!The rod ball with just one hit is set nice and tight. Retails for $29.99 (Stone Not Incld) Has many other uses on the Cox eng.

hahahahahhahaha........I saw this at work last night and cracked up laughing in my office..........you must have wierd hours like I do fastlash.............Rog..painted the new crutch this morning for the .074.

Default New Cox Rod Tool

I took my reset tools for the .049 and .020 to a modeler friend and had him make up one for my .010's. He drilled out a block to support the piston and made up the shaft from an old drill bit. He milled the end to a concaved shape and cut a slot into it for the rod clearance. A very cleaver modeler and got a nice bottle of wine for his trouble.

Actually, I made one up out of bar stock steel. Didn't hold up. A drill bit sounds better but it sounds like you need carbide bits to do the work. Don't have a lot of carbide bits. Maybe Dremel type grinding bits will do the trick. Hey, might try again. Thanks.
