Default Kaotic Plans

Does anyone have any Kaotic plans as a file? None of the old links work. Also anyone know of a source for the canopy?

Thanks,
Bill

Thanks guys,
I'm thinking it may make a good home for an extra norvel 061 I have. May get a bit crowded in there with an throttle servo too.

Actually, there is plenty of room for three channels, and even four if you get the kit from Select Hobbies and see the arrangement on the plan there. The Skydrill kit is based on the Kaotic and has great laser cut parts. Get the kit and solve your canopy problem as well It will be a rocket with the Norvel, as the performance is lively on the Cox Golden Bee.

I thought the Kaotic was slightly different than the skydrill. From the plans it looks like the wing is a bit thinner than the full Kaos. Anyone fly both of them?

You are right. The Kaotic is slightly different to a Skydrill. P.T.Ulmer drew up the Kaotic and it is pretty close to a 1/2 size Kaos. I took the Kaotic (with Mr Ulmer's permission) and made a Kit Friendly version. Steve.

Thanks Steve,
Is it my eyes, or is the Skydrill slightly larger than the Kaotic?

Skydrill is very slightly smaller. Parts are made to fit on minimum number of laser sheets.

Just wood or any hardware? Also, anyone do outboard aileron servos to save space, or is there enough. I figure you are the one to ask.

I have a guy that lazer cuts for me, but the kit seems a lot less work, although almost everything I'm flying is scratch built. You don't have online ordering on your site?

Thanks Rafa,
Now I'm thinking of just getting Steve's kit, because I am drawing up a 25 size Kaos to scratch build too.
