Norvel .074 inverted
I have recently installed a Norvel .074 in a Herr Cub with floats. I hate the way it sticks out of the cowl, will these run alright upside down?

RE: Norvel .074 inverted
I have found this engine to run very well inverted. I would not hesitate to install one like that.
One word of caution though, turn your hand opposite from the way you normally do when you reach for the glow starter when the engine is inverted (read that as dont reach for the glow starter palm down). Ask me how I know.

Why not inverted on a float plane? If the water splashes enough to swamp it inverted it'll do the same thing right side up considering the size of the thing.

I hold it nose up while fueling, and then upside down for starting. Your mileage may vary.
