Default .049 reset tool dimensions

Does anyone have specs/dimensions for the cox reset tools? I'm needing the .049 and .020 the most, but would like to have the set eventually. I would prefer to make my own also.

Somewhere in the 1/2A forum I believe there are plans for the reset tool, but I don't remember who put there there or what thread they are in.

Davis Diesel also sells a reset tool for the .049.

Do a search on reset tools. There were plans in one of the threads.

enter "lathe project" in your search. I found the entry but it won't let me save the pic.

That was my drawing. I'll enter into the reedie FAQ. You'll find it in the last post of the thread. Reply here if you have any questions since the Reedie FAQ is locked.

Cheerio....

Thanks for all the replies you guys! I had a brain f**t and forgot about the search function. My old man used to say "your brain gets stuck on dead center just like one of them old two cylinder John Deere tractors" Anyway, this will get me started. If anyone has the numbers for an .020 I would be obliged, I didn't see that size in the searches I did. I was going to buy, but i have a lathe and some free time at work during the week... Ross

Thanks for noticing that Luna. In a hurry I guess. It's fixed now.
