A member of the local club brought this little guy in for the lastest Show-and-Tell session. It wouldn't qualify for the design contest ( construction started at XMAS) but it was too cute to not snap a pciture and post.

Sharp model and a GREAT name. Love the light weight too. She'll be a mover for sure.

Default Sykosis

The plane has not been covered yet. This is the only other picture I have for now. I'll try to get some finished shots if I have the chance.

Any chance you share the plans to that beautiful model?

Default Plans

The design belongs to someone else- not to me. I just took the pictures. I know that the plans were drawn up in CAD, but I have no idea if Dave intends to make them public. I'll ask him the next time I see him.

It would definitely be a project for an experienced builder- the cowl and canopy are custom so you'd have to carve your own plugs and pull the parts.

Default Sykosis - Finished!

Here is a pre flight shot of the finished Sykosis.

What it will look like AFTER the first flight is open to debate.

Default New Flight Line Accessory?

I had to add this.

Very useful for moving those overweight 1/2A planes in and out of the car and around the pit.

I just hope those nylon straps can take that kind of weight!! That is a great shot and is making the rounds at our club.

I really liked the fiberglass work, did you make the piece? If you have any tips I would be greatful to get a quick lesson.

Great plane and a really nice covering job. I will be awaiting the flying review.
