Default LMH .061 Norvel heli to plane?

have looked up the parts and when I convert my heli to an .074 I will have the .061 leftover and can for $35 convert it to regular plane rc motor, need carb, muffler, and head, anybody got any of these parts, they want to part with?, locked up a .o49 to .074? I think its the same carb,, will pay for it........ but $25 for a carb on a $45 engine is a little steep...........oh well, if ya got it let me know.......thanks .. Rog

.061 head
.061 muffler
.049.-074 carb (think they are all same)

Default LMH .061 Norvel heli to plane?

I just picked up slightly used a LMH .061
Plan is to trim the heat sink head down to 3 or 4 fins
and to purposely use the throttle muffler. linkage maybe
an issue though...

FWIW
The prop screw/ clutch shaft pitch is also different than the aircraft motor.

P.S. Anybody now if the port timing is the same as the BigMig?

for a cheap conversion,,
use a cox .049 head
dig through your small machine bolt drawer for a prop bolt.
cut off and patch the throttle tube on the muffler.

I did this same thing, and got a great little engine for my glider,, the heli muffler acts like a slightly "tuned" pipe,, and gives a great mechanical seal so that the plane stays cleaner.
