Richard,

I too am looking forward to the BARKS meet. I don't know where Morganton is so I must not be close enough to offer a ride. ANyway, I either leave after an hour or am the last to leave. Depends on my mood and nap schedule.

Hey Rog, are we gonna have to ride home on ice again this year?

I want to unl . . . er, I mean make available to uns . . . er, I mean kindred spirits some of my tra . . . er, I mean high quality model airplane material (whew, that was close). Alas, not much in the small model area but just cleaning house to make room for more ele . . . er, I mean different kinds of models.

Bob will have 8 or 10 tables so he'll be easy to spot. I have a table paid for too but its usually hard to see me because of all the autograph seekers and TV cameras that often crowd around - or just look for another old, fa . . . er, I mean well-fed guy with a couple of small models on the table for "lures".

Richard,
You most likely will be riding with Seth and I.
The hardest part about seeing Raymond is wading thru the beutiful wimmin he attracts.

Are your meds affecting your speech patterns there buddy?

Well, this year I will not have any tables. My Daughter is having her 16th birthday party Friday night so I had to cancel my tables. So I get to keep my stuff for another year!!!!!

I hope to make it Saturday morning though. Rog, lets plan to meet with everyone somewhere.

Wow Bob! 16th birthday! Boys, cars, horses, hormones. Sixteen is about where the roller coaster started with our two daughters (both survived but me and mom have a few scars).

I'm sorry that you aren't going to set up the Early R/C "beacon" this time. Its always the best place for the Crew to coagulate. Maybe we can get us-all together over lunch so we can swap li . . . er, I mean true life experiences.

I will be there... too entertaining to miss Vic, Rog, Bob, etc. (Raymond is somewhat normal, i.e. not listed)

Good show as Rog mentioned.

Brian,

I applaud your discerning character judgement. I only hope that Bob and Rog don't get upset that you included them in the same sentence with "you know who".

As for my being "somewhat" normal, of course its an understatement in terms of mental capacity but we don't want to take a chance that some people may put another interpretation on "normal" now do we? Of course not. Just imagine how I would feel if anyone - yes even one person - came away from this post thinking I was a Barak O'Clinton supporter or even a Mc-Paul junkie? (Knee slap, knee slap) haaaaaaw! Well its a good thing that people in other states will decide who I will be able to vote for. Just imagine if I had to select between more than two choices almost a year from now? Whew, the mind boggles! Thank you founding fathers. (In case you're thinking what I think you're thinking, the answer is, "you betcha!"

I'm scared... Everything Raymond said was clear and I agreed with him. You think it's a tumor?

Fireman, you showed up awful early.

The rest of you guys that show up at the regular time, have plenty of fun for the rest of us!

AGNT,
I have always behaved at the T-6 races. I tend to take on a diffrent personality...or two when I get around these guys.
It's a "you had to be there" thing.

Are you racing .25 quickies this year?

Patrick,

I couple of weeks ago I spent over two hours in an MRI brain scan. I can't vouch for you, but I don't have a tumor. So I can't use your excuse. And since we're talking about politics; remember to vote for the choice the residents of some other state has selected for you. Do we have a great "news" media or what? (OK its out of my system now - I'll be still from now on - maybe.)

All the Good,

Alas, I fear that being around the Crew tends to bring out the "real" in some people. Try to keep him talking about the grown-up racers during your trip and stay away from the small stuff. Just some friendly advice.

Brian, after a 3 hour drive I am ready for lunch! The boy scouts have done an ok job in the past. They need some better looking den mothers tho.

PT, you have a tumor if you got any kind of coherent message from Raymond's post. I am the only normal one.

Well, that remains to be seen. Since I dominated, yes I said dominated the T-6 races, it seems there is quite a set of crosshairs on my forehead. I will under the microscope if I do compete which is fine with me. Nobody will find ALL of my secret speed enhancing enhancements. [&:]
I have a Dodger kit, but haven't started on it yet. Haven't bought a .25 yet.
If I do build it, I'm thinking of covering it in pink Monokote with green and purple stars and polkadots.

Some of the CCRC crew were going to invade BARKS this weekend if the weather holds up. Might bring my TeeDee powered Q-Tee.

LOL

Sometimes my fingers move faster than my brain - but not faster than my planes. Nyuck nyuck...

I really haven't had the itch to race, that's why I haven't started on my Doddger. I do have some pink Monokote though.

Once sping rolls around I'm sure I'll get to honeycombing the wing cores. Damn, gave a secret away...[:@]
