Default new batterypack option

I am going to get some of these to try. Have not seen 1/2 AAA before... 350ma sounds good for a lot of flying. no weight listed, but it must be lighter than the 3/4 aaa cells.

The price is right, too!

I have used a lot of the other NiMH batteries they make and they have all been very good.

One ounce for a five cell pack. Not bad I will
be calling them.

120mil ohms is a very high internal resistance rating. Some of the Sanyo's I buy are rated at 6mil ohm internal resistance.

It could easily be a misprint. This site has a fair bit of wobbly English and mistakes. All of the batteries I have bought from them have been excellent, their newer <2600mah> AA NiMH have very low internal resistance compared to any other high capacity NiMH AA cells I have- I would image these are made using the same chemistry and so would at least be worth the $5 gamble. I`d use these (after testing) just because they come from this company.

I didn`t see the weights- thats about 5grams for anyone like me who comes with metric wiring.

Maybe it is supposed to be 12 or something near that. At that weight per cell, they're worth checking out.

Thanks for the link.

There are all kinds of weird sizes available for batteries. Have a look at [link=http://www.titanenergybatteries.com/TitanCHART.htm]this....[/link]

JM, 350 is a nice size as long as the plane can still go straight up.

Are you still hasselling me because my last two planes didn`t make unlimited vertical? If so, lookout man, I have made some big advances in the engine performance department. My micro turbo-superchargers are running well now, though it means I can`t use a pipe, and I had to go to needle roller big ends and cranks supported at both ends.

Actually these 1/2AAA packs should weigh only slightly more than 1/3AAA packs, but with much more capacity (about 2 1/2 - 3X)

JM, Your DF'd planes are in their own category for coolness.
The 350s are a nice compromise and work good with my el-cheapo field charger. I'm totally convinced that 150s are just too much work for a nice lazy day at the field, I mostly go with 300s now.

I tried to order some of these yesterday, but they showed up as out of stock. Anyone get some? Looks like they were on sale.
