You may be better off w/ the non throttled 049. The extra servo may make it too heavy. but Norvel makes a great throttled .061.

No no not you. I saw lone rangers post first for some reason.
""Norvel makes a .049 that throttles every bit as good as thier .061 and thier .074.
FYI
I'm sure most everyone knows this!
L.R. ""
must have been a glitch

raptor30 I do both , have an LMH with an .074 , and do 1/2a and parkflyers too just keep your heli ,keep on playing with it and join in with us 1/2a flyers its not that expensive... nothing like a heli crash.... keep your radio and get a flight pak for it to put in a plane you got ace or herr 1/2a planes both on Quantum models and the norvel or cox

this is kinda on topic....my father came home with a GWS p-51 from the lhs. we were debating on converting it to glow power with a .061. anyone tried this? would the fuel eat the foam? would polyurethane (sp?) seal the paint and foam from fuel? will polyurethane eat the foam? any special considerations?

from what I had read and asked the fuel will eat the paint on the plane but not the foam , however it will get absorbed into the foam, therre is a water based polyurethane that should work, but you'd have to experiment, the GWS motor is only gonna last for 30 or so flights so just fly it like it is than change it over..Rog

My dad has built a HERR F4U-1 corsair and he wants to convert it to glow. the fuse is made up of spars running to the back.
Will he have to inlay balsa sheeting?
