Does anyone know who makes the Hobbico CS servos?

I think Hitec made them at one time because I'm pretty sure I used the same gears for the HS80 and a CS11.

The CS-12 looks like a HS81, but the CS-5 looks like a JR241.

OK, I think I figured it out. The CS-12 is a Futaba 3101 and the CS-5 is a Futaba 3103.

well, i put the cs-12 gears into my hs-81's all the time (they cost less) so, what does that tell you?

but they aren't. the 127 df is. go to hobbico specs, and hitec specs. see what the hs-605 specs are compared to the hobbico hi torque. those gears interchange also. OR- put a futaba servo arm on a cs-12, and see how fast it crashes!!!

for that matter, I've put hobbico cs-35 metal gears in a hitec 225 mighty micro. do you still think they are futaba, jboy? but the servo output arms are the real tip off. why would futaba make servos for hobbico, but make them turn the opposite direction and put hitec servo arms on them?

again, though, the hobbico receiver does say 127df on the back, i got 2 of them... and a dozen hobbico servos... and about 20 hitecs.... and one futaba s-148 that is old as dirt....

hey, bipe flyer, i got your plans mailed yesterday, was priority so you should have them soon. the copies look better than the original plans!

Thanks fred.

The CS-5 and TS-5, S3101 and S3106 all use the same gears, but have different speed and torque ratings.

Follow this URL and click on the parts link.

Prices from Tower.
CS-5 $27.99
TS-5 $19.99
S3101 $29.99
S3106 $22.99

i only own one of the submicro hobbicos, and wasn't impressed with the cost/weight/torque value as opposed to the cs-12, so didn't buy any more. i have had to replace the gears twice in it, have it on the rudder of the cap now, i think. i had thought it was a hitec hs-65 or something, but on that one i'm not too sure as i don't have enough to compare it with!

well i really don't worry about "who" makes the servos,as long as they are relieable. the way ya'll talk.i don't want any of them no matter who makes them.i'll stick with hitec.they have never let me down yet.
thanks john
