Default Cox on Wikipedia Very informative!

Just ran across this while being distracted from another task...

Don't know if any one else who is a regular around here has seen this or not.

I do love Wikipedia as an informative souce of cool info but never thought to look this up there. Seems they have a very detailed and informative page devoted to Cox model engines. Including some really great pics and graphics aalong with things like the different glow heads with their appropriate part numbers and a brief history and time line.

I espcially liked the detailed data on the different Cox cylinders showing the different ports and
booster ports.

There are also links to things like 1/2 A Which I have not gone to but I suspect there may be an explanation for what 1/2 A is for those who want to know. It comes up from time to time and this may be a good link for those seeking enlightenment to some of our mysteries.

There was no mention of the GloBee plug and adaptor but most others are listed in the aftermarket heads section.

Anyways, here is a link to the page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cox_Model_Engines

Wow! That's the most concise report on Cox that I've ever read! Thanks for showing us that one.

When I came across it I got stuck there a while!

OS also has a page there:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O.S._Engines

but I did not find one on Fox or K&B. Both deserving.

I am glad to share something new!

I think Fox might get the prize for the most different models and variants [deviants ?] of engines made. I don't know if anyone alive can list each and everyone that they ever made.
