Hey .020 fans - lookie here.
It's not mine, I just spotted it on FleaBay.

RE: Hey .020 fans - lookie here.
If I recall the discussion about these engines a while back the results were that they produce enough power to turn a prop but barely. I'm not sure if they are comparable to a PeeWee .020 or not but I gather that they aren't anywhere near as good as a Tee Dee .020.

F-.020
Bruce has it correct.
At the 2004 Control line World Championships I had a discussion with one of the Ukrainian F2D pilots about making some high performance .020s.
Some months of discussions and correspondence lead to the engine design posted on Ebay.
Unfortunately the resulting engine was not quite there and did not make nearly the power of the TeeDee. I sold a few of them with the caveat that they were novelties and not performers.
However, Japanman (used to post a lot on this forum and is a very accomplished modeler) spent many hours working with them and had one making really nice power. So . . . potential is there for someone with a lathe, other machine tools, talent and time.
