Gabe, I don't have plans, but the idea is to use a 1/16" ply base that lays on the wing and build a upright out of 3/8"or 1/2" balsa sheet that is high enough to clear a 6" prop. I use 1/8" ply for a firewall with solid balsa block to back up the firewall and to strap the tank to. The engine should have some upthrust.

Gabe,
PM me with your US Mail address and I'll send you one already made. I saw it the other day so it can't be too far under the usual pile of cra . . . I mean, valuable model airplane equipment. I know I'll never use it and you're welcome to it and I'll have to go to the P.O. next week to send a hacksaw to my wife's brother (figure it out).

If you get Ray's remember to shim how it fits on the wing so it's stable and has a good 5 degrees upthrust or it'll try to bury the nose when you hand launch it.
The pods are never a "one size fits all" because the upthrust angle and how it seats on the wing is always so dependent on the airfoil shape.

You could shift it fore and aft to get the desired upthrust.
Once known that is. Many a flyer has cursed his setup till it finally was placed right. There is nothing said about the correct upthrust or downtrhust (when used as a pusher) needed in the instructions.

I just looked over the power pod I'm sending. It does have an airfoil shaped "platform" that is intended to match the upper surface of whatever wing it was built to be rubber-banded to (I didn't make it). But if it doesn't fit or provide the proper upthrust, you can always saw it off and reshape the pylon.
If it were me, I'd reinforce it with alternating layers of fiber-glass, 1/2-inch straight-grained maple, G10, aircraft plywood, concrete, and Super Monocote dissolved in MEK. But then again my 1/2A models don't seem to fly as well as some others of the Crew. I've often wondered about that.
Its in a box now, I'll get it to the Post Office on monday.

Bob,
I've often giggled, chortled, and snickered to myself when I think about the word "law" in brother-in-law given his er, . . . association with the er, . . . system. But hopefully the hacksaw will get through to him undetected and we'll all be together in time for Christmas. Woo hoo.
Did I mention that he's a republican? Been to the convention and everything. (Haaaw! I'm enjoying this! Its so easy for me to imagine him in that er, . . . environment.)
