Default Carb for Cox TD 09

Allow me to balspheme for a moment here. I have a Cox .09 with a Tarno Carb on it. I am missing the needle valve. I have looked everywhere for one, including posting here on RCU to which I had no response. Turns out there aren't a whole lot around........ (imagine that).

So, my thought was this. "Could I JB Weld a modified Enya .09 carb into the COX? I have lots of those." I know, it's blasphemy and I'll probably go to H*ll for even suggesting it but, what else is a guy supposed to do?

Thanks.

Tim

Sure, go for it. If the carb works, and its bore is in a working range for the Cox which I imagine it is, then you should be off to the races. I think you'll be forgiven.. engine mods are cool if they make it work.

Hey, whaddya mean you have "lots of those" Enya carbs..?! Why don't I have lots of them? [:-]

The carb from the old OS Max 10S or R/C works, I know because I have a brand new OS 10S with no carb, the previous owner put it on a Cox 09.
These are the pre-FSR,FP 10s. Some have an exhaust throttle. You can probably get an old beater cheap, beats the Enya blasphemy!
