RE: RO Pylon
Hi Raindave,
What would a copy of these plans cost or can they be put into a pdf tiled format ? It would take very little effort to turn this model into a reasonable copy of a Denight Special.
Thanks
Carlos G.

Hi Dave,
Thank you for the advice. I did copy down load it to my documents. I am not at all well versed at manipulating drawings within my computer :-( ( I'm lucky I can turn the silly computer on! ).
I tried enlarging the image but, all that happens is that the image becomes oversized pixels and blurrs out. Since American Modeler preceeded Model Aviation, would MA have access to the full size plans ?
Thank you for your patience,
Carlos G.

I'm not having any success in getting the attachment to download, only to open, which gives a black window. Can you convert the TIF file to PDF, then try another attachment? My SAVING options are grayed out.

Very clever! It downloaded to full size and at 150 dpi. I wonder if that would also work for PDF files? I guess that I will have to try it sometime. Thanks

1) Right Click on the attachment.
2) Click on "Save Link as" or "Save Target as" depending on your browser.
3) Rename the file "pylon-polisher.tif" You must change the .txt to .tif
4) Save it somewhere on your drive.

I measured the dihedral; it's 9.5°!
Ok, I forget that a lot of folks don't have graphics programs that open TIF files.
I have uploaded a new file. It is a 300dpi PDF. Use the same procedure, but rename the file to: pylon-polisher.pdf
Then, you can open it in Acrobat Reader.
BTW, I made the paper size ANSI D (34 x 22).

If you are still having problems:
1) Open a folder on your desktop.
2) Click on Tools > Folder Options... and click the View tab.
3) Uncheck the box for "Hide extensions of known file types" and click "OK."
Now, you will be able to see and change the .txt file extension when you rename the file.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the help with the plans. As I said I'm not very good with a computer( Hey, why dont you try ALt + F4 ...? ), that one has been pulled on me once or twice.
Again the pdf format is something I will be able to manage. Thanks again for your help.
Best Regards
