Kyosho Skymaster 10
Having bought this kit many months ago, I decided to finally assemble it this Christmas day, taking me no more than 5 hours at a slow pace.
All the electronics are standard size, and powering it is a ASP 12A engine turning a 7x6 prop.
The fuse is made of ABS plastic, with a 5mm ply tray sinde for the electronics.
The engine bearers are soft mounted to the fuse with rubber absorbers and hold the 100cc fuel tank on the inside.
Wings and control surfaces are constructed out of what seems to be depron, with a hard outer layer of the material giving it strenght, and two pieces of ply glued together form the wing dihedral and hold the two halves together.
All up weight feels to be under a kilogram.
Still have to maiden it, but that may be very soon [8D]

Whoa, the funny things that are maketed in the R/C world, it looks cool though. Should be that perfect lazy day flier that brings back a slower pace of flying, those planes tend to be in the fleet the longest and get the most flights of all of them combined. Looks good and enjoy many touch & go's with her.

Cute as a button. I have to admit that I love to keep some slow, easy flyers around. They are relaxing and somewhat therapeutic after flying planes that are higher strung. I often alternate my flights between more "feisty" models and gentle flying cream puffs when I'm at the field. The variety works for me.

Hello,
I know this is a very old posting, but I am interested in this model. Does anyone know of parts, or one for sale? Thanks in advance Flyer970

Ebay may be your best bet for one of these, when I bought mine it was the only available at the shop.
Skaliwag, thanks for the heads-up

Patxipt,
I have an old Kyosho Autokite fuselage that I would like to try to turn into one of these. Could you copy/scan the manual for the Skymaster and e-mail it to me?
Thanks,
Bill (Flyer970)
