DickeyBird TD
Way back in 2003 Dickey Bird had a post on how to convert a Cox TD into a throttled reliable runner. The thread http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/tm.asp?m=649557 is no longer available. Anyone know how to retrieve that info?
Thanks,
Honker1

RE: DickeyBird TD
Thanks for remembering the good ol' days Mr. Honker.
Here's a thread started by prole (long gone from here) that has a good bit of detail about the simple TeeDee detuning engine combo that works pretty well. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_68.../tm.htm#688342
I put the stuff into an article that was published in Flying Models in Jan 2004. Here's a link http://www.carstens-publications.com...s/fm_0104.html
edit: Stoopid me forgot to paste the link referred to. I pasted it now.
