new Mecoa glow heads
Just a heads-up. they appear to already have standard Cox .049/.051 glow heads in stock, with hi-comps coming soon....along with buttons for NV and heads for the rest of the Cox line and other old 1/2A engines.

RE: new Mecoa glow heads
Every time I've ordered something from them I've gotten it right away. The one time something wasn't ready yet they emailed me when it was available to confirm if I still wanted it.

I want .020 heads. I can get almost anything else.

Jeffie,
Doug Galbreath makes Glo-Bee style replacement elements and head clamps for the .020.
Just send him one burned out one and he'll replace it with a Glo-Bee, $25.
Glo-Bee's hold up nice and usually out-perform Cox heads.

Must be new. I believe I called and spoke to him once and he told me he didn't have anything for .020s. Great news!!!!
Where can I get GloBee plugs?

I don't think Galbreath sells the plugs does he? I did not see them listed on his site. Is there one included with the modified head?

Yes, a standard glow insert is machined to fit the bore, and also uses a special beveled washer.
You get your original Cox glow head returned to you that he'll special machine, with a bevel compression washer and turned down GloBee plug. All special fit from stock parts to adapt to the .020[8D]
