That's great news!

"The balsa wood supply is very tight right now. A lot of the suppliers already have commitments for their balsa wood..."

Thanks to the Chinese ARF factories.[>:]

The committment is to building propellers for wind-power generators, according to Riley Wooten.

That's fantastic news I always loved dealing with them. I checked their sight for now it is mostly wood products. I hope with time they will go back to the other products they sold as well. This is great news THANKS

It is hard to believe but Lonestar salvaged some of the balsa stock from the fire and is offering deals on it. It really doesn't sound so bad to me and has been recut and resized although not perfect, hence the good prices.

Still hard to believe that any balsa survived at all after seeing the pictures of the place...

I move that we do our part to help show our support to Lonestar and to help make room for newer stock in the future.

Yes Good news indeed.

Also, wind turbines use balsa in the blades
