Glad you like the baron.I have not flown her yet,as Im not experience enought of a flyer. The CG would be close on what the house of balsa bonanza would be.By building it light and solid the plane with a experience flyer should have no trouble flying it.The next kit that I build I will find someone that knows how to fly this baron, There is a gentlemen that works for a large model company that would do this for me if I wanted him to.I been told by some of the customers that they want to build theres for display and paint them up like there real barons that they own. untell later.Dennis.

Got a couple of photos,of the new fuseloge mold with the rear dorsal fin installed. This should help in putting the plane together, and make for a weight savings in the rear of the plane.

Dennis, I'm afraid I missed the size somewhere in the thread. What size airplane are we looking at here for the kit you are going to produce? Also, what will be included?

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,The baron has a 50 inch wing span.Right now a parts list,im looking at the main fuseloge body, rear molded stablizer, one piece wing, made from fiberglass and carbon fiber. All of the detail will be molded in,like the fuseloge. Two molded fiberglass and carbon fiber engines. These will have all of the detail molded in,like screw areas, bottom removeable vent doors. Top air intakes, detail plating. air conditioner parts will be molded separate. Windrows, speed shield will be included.Small details such as side step. top fuseloge details. Rear stablizer and rudder control cylinders.I can supply the true turn spinners at extra cost. These are special made for me. Retracts will be included, they are robart made. This will give you a idea of some of the parts listed. There are more, Thanks Dennis

Pulled the new fuseloge today. The body turned out really light and strong with all of the new detail molded in. The only thing is I needed to do is add carbon fiber inside the rear tail.So I layed up another fuseloge today,to try and improve these areas.I,ll know more tomorrow when I pull that body out of the mold. untell later.

Pulled the second baron fuseloge this morning, and it turned out really nice. The carbon fiber in the rear tail made the tail section stronger. The dark sections is were the cardon fiber is molded in the body.White primer will cover these areas later. All of the detail is clean and crisp. The customer who owns this fuseloge should be happy with this baron body. The rear stablizer is also fiberglass.

Got a few shots of the inside of the wing and fuseloge,to show the controls. In the wing the front servo controls the ailerons.middle servo controls the retracts, rear servo controls the flaps. The bottom of the fuseloge, you will see two front servos. One servo controls the rudder and turning of the front wheel. The other is for the retract of the front wheel. The rear servo controls the rear stablizer. Hopefully these pictures will give the modelers of what the control surfaces look like.dennis

I agree with Custombuiltrc..... One of the cleanest retract installations I have seen. Great work, especially considering the size of the ship.
