I think I found the MA 7X3 to be the best on both the TT .07 and the Norvel .074.  I usually use APCs on most of my stuff, but the MA seems to have more thrust in that particular size.

I think 7x3 is a bit too large for the TT07, it easily overheats. A 6x3 or 6x4 is a better match as it doesn't have the power of the Norvel .074....

6X4 is about the same load as a 7X3.  Never had a problem with overheating.

What numbers do you get with the 7x3?

Gaaah, you'ed think the way people talk about the TT GP-07 that is wouldn't begin to drag it off the grass anythingat all as well as that!

I have one older unused one, and was wondering how the newer ones perform and what fuel you're using?

I have used a MA 7x3 and APC 6x3 on my TT GP.07 and both worked well, didn't get any #'s on the 7x3 but i was getting 17000rpm on the APC 6x3 with 10% omega fuel and an OS A3 plug, my .07 is the purple head one, not the newer one.

The thing people should remember is that the GP .07 is not a TeeDee .049 and wont get the same RPMs.

Mine's a purple head as well.

I have my 07 in a Simple 400. The only prop I cared for was a MA 6x3. The 6x4 and APC 6x3 put too much load on engine and airplane performance suffered. Retired plane, not enough poop.

Mine made about 17500 rpm on a graupner 6x3 prop, in stock version.

With a turbo plug it did 18700 rpm on the same prop and 16700rpm on an APC 7x3.

Problem for me was that it was prone to overheating and a lack of longlivety. The crank to case fit is really sloppy straight out of the box and it wore out really quickly. Only got about half a season out of mine...

That's why I used a MA 7X3, the APC was too much load.
