RE: TE stock angle?
Thanks guys. It's probably the only type wood I don't normally buy so I couldn't measure one. It looks like it will work as a center rib with each panel having 7* of dihedral.[sm=thumbup.gif]

RE: TE stock angle?
Who sells TE stock or aileron stock that doesn't have a right angle? That is, an Isosceles triangle.
I've never enjoyed cutting a new leading edge on stock for symmetrical wings. But, all the stock I order has the leading edge at a right angle to one of the long sides.

He's talking about the other angle of a right triangle. Pythagorean theorem.

Total of 14 seems quite a lot. Pigeon style glide.

I thought that too. What about using the TE stock as a wedge between the 2 centre ribs?

Oh, I thought you were going to cut the centre rib for each panel out of TE stock. Makes more sense the way you're doing it. Very cool idea - should give a nice solid joint.

What I was asking before is if any of the balsa suppliers sell TE stock that is an Isosceles triangle. Right triangle TE stock is great for flat-bottom or semi-symmetrical airfoils. But, a symmetrical airfoil must have TE stock that is an Isosceles triangle. See image below.
You must cut or sand a new leading edge onto most TE stock. Otherwise, you'll get what's in image #2.

Oh, I'm really not on the ball today. I've never seen TE stock like that, but it would be nice.
