In both my...
MudBug and my LittleBlueAngel, I have run a 5 cell 50mah battery pack that I purchase from Maxx Products. This is a Nicad pack, and I get approximately 5 flights from it (90 second flights) before I feel the need to check the battery and top it off.
Tomorrow, I am going to a local battery supplier to have a 4 cell 280mah nimh pack made for the MudBug. I am adding extra battery to replace the 1/4 oz of lead(yuck ) that I had to put in the nose to balance the plane.
I believe Balsa Products and Cermark also sell small battery packs like the first one I mentioned.

Hey Dickeybird
Sorry for the late response Rog...wifey broke her arm and I've been out a couple days.
The KwikStik 010 should fly fine at 6.2 oz. The extra weight will reduce the climb somewhat but it should handle wind better. By all means, get a 130 mah NiMH batt. to save weight if you can.
Make sure to double check the CG and check for wing warps. Rudder controlled planes don't like warped wings!
Good Luck!

Hey Dickeybird
my sympathies to the little woman , but thanks for the reply DB I had planned to try and fly it anyway as soon as I get some fuel line for it..the .010 is so quiet compared to even the .020 even though mine only runs on the prime it sounds like an electric motor........Rog
