Default Wasp - any good?

Apologies if already answered in this group but the forum search function is currently not working for me - the LHS has a new yellow box marked "WASP" on it. Is this engine any good? I was in a hurry and as the box was locked up in a display cabinet, I wasn't able to get more details.

TIA

Default RE: Wasp - any good?

I like it, compared to some other Chinese stuff I have it is a real charm...

I use 20% castor (due to the sloppy crank) and 10% Nitro. Swings a MAS 5x4 quite well, I would have to check my notes but it should be around 16500 rpm.

Muffler needs sealing (I've used JB weld) and I've also added a fixed airbleed hole (0.5 mm). Norvel spring starter is a really nice thing, the wasp even has the hole in the mounting lug for it. The head gasket has worked well on mine so far...
