Great news!

We now have the 8cc fuel tank assemblies in stock:

The 5cc aluminium ones should follow soon.

Sorry I looked it up, after I saw it...funny I ordered something from yall on the bay, but I rebuilt a golden bee (not from your kits) at home and the steel reedie wouldnt run, but the mylar ran like a top?Maybe these little engines are more sensitive than we think...Rog

I found that the reeds are paramount to how well these things run. I never tried the steel but there was a little drill I do where I very lightly blow then draw on the reed using my mouth but with my nose open. The very slight resultant pressure and suction should make the reed work cleanly and without any sign of it imitating a clarinet. If it sings then you need to do something to it.

Mostly this was an issue with the old bronze reeds. Perhaps the steel reeds are similar in this respect since they can be permanently deformed. The mylar reeds always work first time, every time for me.
