I was just doing a little mod to the firewall to allow the bladder to fit without problems and the drill bit grabbed and spun the whole plane ripping out the fw and snapping the tail off. Even after 25 years of working in a machine shop I don't know enough bad words to say right now to make me feel better[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

Guys, I planned and scraped and saved and connived and nothing worked; I just am gonna have to miss it, and I'm sorry I can't be there 'cause that darn four-letter word got in the way. I will be looking forward to some great pix, though, and I'll be there in spirit anyway. Here's hoping all have a good time, and I promise to plan futher in advance for the next one; maybe there will be another event soon nearby. I really wanted to meet y'all in person, 'cause this forum is about the only socializing I get to do. Have fun, keep safe, and make lots of noise and nitro fumes. Maybe the wind will be the right direction and I'll catch a whiff. Wolfy

Guys... don't feel too bad for Vicman..... first the 'claim' of destruction... then a 'double post' of how he's "going to bed".... Ok boise. The Slimo49 has been re-fused and getting ready for some paint. Dunno when the next race is going to be but this plane is gonna be there.
