Aah-the Mk3 blackhead version-not the Mk2 with the impossible to replace 10.5mm rear bearing........

I ran a version of that engine for 10 years (piped) with a Perry carb on it. I just took it off to give to a friend for a vintage quarter midget racer. It was the BEST .15 I have ever run.... and I doubt I will find an equal easily. I replaced it with a new MVVS 15, but it cant even come close to what the Rossi would turn (a 7x4 PAC at just under 20K) on the MAc's pipe and regular 10% fuel.

Yes, correct. It can pull a 6" prop close to 30K rpm And all on low nitro fuel.

The engine has now gone to a new home, to my flight instructor's father collection of 1300+ engines over 50 years old.
