Revised 1/2A Pacer
 

Here is a revised Pacer for 1/2A. It has all built up construction, 175 sq. in, 14.5 Oz all up, 4 HS-55 servos, FMA Extreme Receiver, 300 mAh NiMH and a Norvel .061 AME w/ 2 oz. tank. The one pictured was built by fellow club member Dave Rice from my drawings. Sadly, I'm better with a mouse than with an Exacto knife (sob!!)

I tried to keep the spirit of Owen Kampen's original design, but I shrank it to 175 sq. in with a NACA 0013 section and lightened it. It flies very well, fast or slow and has a very fast climb rate- better than some of the .25-40 size planes at my field.

I have several other 1/2A designs I've done in CAD. I would like to hear from others doing the same.

I dont see your pics...sounds cool though I have a few cad planes somewhere in this pc...I wouldn't mind a few more (hint hint)
