Default RE: RC Surfer

Hello everyone,
No surf today, small, weedy and onshore everywhere, so early this morning Bob and I went down to the marina to see how the LiPo's go.
I couldn't believe the extra punch.
I just chucked it in and floored it as usual and the board just started jumpin' out of the water on 3 - 6 inch shorebreak.
I see what you mean by "Go easy on the trigger".
We were blown away by how fast and powerful the board is now.
We only ran 1 pack and headed back to Bob's workshop to weigh in.
The board with current ballast, 7.4v 4000mAh battery and Carbon Epoxy Dude weighed 1.906Kg.

Yes, I am extremely lucky to have teamed up with Bob, although I have seen him around over the years, I only really met him recently when he heard what I was doing.
He is as stoked to be doing this as I am.
I gave him a little drive this morning for the first time, I think he was a bit nervous 'cause he took it pretty easy, I was telling him to go flat out, then the pack cut off so we left.
I wish he was at every surf session, but because of his work commitments, I have been getting dozens of "Really Incredible Waves" when he is not around.
Luckily he is keeping in touch and keen to do a lot more when he can.
Thanks for all the encouragement and info guys.

I have another cool pic from yesterday for ya's.
Sea Ya.
