Have you looked at a Parkzone model perhaps?The new SR-10 is pretty docile. I don't own one, but I flew one about 3 weeks ago andit's pretty tame in the air. I learned to fly on Parkzone's T-28, personally,and it was an easy progression from there to more agile models. I still fly my T-28, it's awesome in the air. I would suggest looking into something like that.
