I'm new to electric's so a few more questions. You said go for the 80A ESC once and for all. So does this meen I can run the 80A esc on a smaller system later on if need be (say a 40A or 60A setup)? Is the Turnigy TR_P80A esc the one your talking about? I don't have enough prop clearance for a 15 or 16" prop. 14" max.
Would the rimfire .55 42-60-480, 14-10E prop or there abouts, a turnigy 80A esc on a 5s 3000mha pack give a decent setup? All up weight would be a touch under 5 lbs. It's not a 3d plane but at least 1 to 1, power to weight would be nice.
