I see and hear of people using the front wheels and tires from a go kart on the rear of a dragster. How do you go about mounting these to the chassis?

I made my own hubs from billet stock
wheels were fronts from a junior Kart.
Rubber is Bridgestone 4.5/10.0-5 DR-8.
axle is steam pipe (stainless)
If you get kart hubs, you'll need an axle that's about an inch or so dia. (can't remember kart axle size right now)
Traditional kart fronts have no stud holes in the rim.
Look for standard rears or junior kart front rims, and go from there
