It’s no real big deal, fellas; just a plane we’re talkin’ ‘bout. Again, I thought of the 180/120 (30cc/20cc) but I’ve learned to go with my gut on “some” things. I can be persuaded here and there, but I know what I know. I know that if I go with anything less, and the same thing happened as it did with my Cessna 337 Skymaster, I will be majorly pissed at ME and walkin’ around sayin’ “I knew it, I freakin’ knew it.” And then when I posted it, you guys would be sayin’, “Ahh, Mr DJ, man, sorry for your loss” and other bla, bla, bla and then continue on with your lives.
Ya’ll know I’m right.
With my 55/30 arrangement, I will at least have a fighting chance if the exact same thing happens; if I crash for other reasons: ol well – no biggy. That’s life in our hobby, and to me, it is only a hobby. But the real reason why I’m stickin’ to it is because I already ordered those expensive a&& Biela props – ya’ll know what I’m talkin’ ‘bout. A 20x10 3-bld for the 55 and a (special order) 16x8 3-bld pusher and 18x10 2-bld pusher for the 30. That's a few hundred $ right there.
