A123's (unregulated) and (Spectrum) DS821 & (HITEC) HS85
The question I have pertains to A123's and Spectrum/JR DS821 servo's and Hitec HS85 micro servo's. I am reconfiguring the radio installation in a Sundowner this winter upgrading to a A123 reciever pack, and I am wondering about the Hitec HS85 (Throttle) and DS821's control surface servo's. They are rated for 6 volts and I normally ran 5 cell NIMH packs, but there voltage comes down fairly quick. Has anyone experienced any problems with these servo's on A123's. I have googled this topic and come up with all kinds of responces, and Horizon told me it was not recommended with there 6V servo's (voltage to high).
Is anyone running these servo's with no problems?
