Default RE: monster power 46 on showtime 50

tractor,
Here is the prop data I found from when I took it:
MP46 Kv test
12.26V 8320RPM measured 680KV using 3S (I measured the true Kv using NO prop and a 3S battery).
5S Gens Ace 3300mAh 25C 2mOhm per cell 10x7 APCe 20.6V 12000RPM 36A 19.7V under load 710W
5S Gens Ace 3300mAh 25C 2mOhm per cell 11x8.5 APCe 19.95V 10600RPM 55A 18.5V under load 1017W
5S Gens Ace 3300mAh 25C 2mOhm per cell 10x10 APCe 19.7V 10700RPM 47A 18.6V under load 874W

Note, the Gens Ace battery is a really good battery and low internal resistance (like 1-2milliohms per cell). so if you have a weaker battery on 5S, it will be lower wattage.
If you use 6S, you can see your RPMS would be higher and you probably would not want to go full throttle for long and watch for vibes. If you have mid grade 6S packs a 10x7, 11x6 or say 12x5 may be ok, but you definitly need to keep a wattmeter on it when you static test it.

You can get away with bursts above the spec Current or wattage on the motor, but be careful with that as well as the current on the ESC. I've Propped to burst more than the Motor wattage, but I seldom burst more than the ESC. Over taxing a motor will burn the motor I find, but over taxing the ESC I find will actually start fires.
