Has there been any activity to address the problem of BPL (Broadband on Power Line) interference on our hobby ?? The ham community (which I am also a member of) and many others are expressing considerable concern. BPL is the transmission of Internet signals to homes and businesses over power lines with the appropriate RF bypass circuits around transformers, etc. The frequency range affected is from 2Mhz to 80Mhz. That includes OUR R/C frequencies. In test installations in New York, The American Radio Relay League lab has measured considerable interference which could effect your flying. Many organizations are against the FCC allowing this but the industry pockets are deep. Read about it on the ARRL web site at
