I'm just curious...out of all the "articles" ever posted about an impending shortage of this or that critical resource by the year ____, how many of them have ever actually managed to run out, or become so rare as to make continued widespread use impractical, or become prohibitively expensive??
It seems like every month, I'm hearing someone else carry on about the shortage of this, or dwindling stockpiles of that, or peak the other...and yet it never seems to come to pass.
