If you look at the amount of actual material in a turbine, you realize that 99% of the price of a turbine is labor and mark-up. With Chinese labor costs being so low, the only thing keeping them out of the turbine market is a concept that seems totally beyond their comprehension: Quality Control. If they ever get a handle on QC, they might have a shot.
