Noise? Only about 115 dB give or take and is music. Four of them on the line singing at 22.5 is a concert. The great thing about these engines on clean airplanes is the way they unload. In the air they pick up another 5K.
And then there was the smell of 65% nitro with these engines gulping down 3 oz/min. I broke mine in on 15% which cost about a thousand rpm off the top but also lowered fuel consumption to only 2 oz/min and didn't kill the plug every flight.
