RE: RCGF 20cc Gasser
I had a Magnum 90 four-stroke in a Great Planes 1/4 scale RV4 and swapped the engine for a RCGF 20cc and love it. The engine seems to put out a bit more power than the Magnum did and I didn't have to ad any weight...only shifted around the components a bit. I am using a 16x8 Master Airscrew prop and it matches the engine and plane very well. I am not the type that needs to squeeze out every drop of power from the engine to be happy. The vertical seems much better. I am sure you will love the change...and the cheep fuel costs also!
