I think a spped 600 will be about the right size. Bigger will be faster. Props . . . I always ask. If you think electric motors are confusing, props are mind blowing. At least with an airplane you know a 2 blade 12-6 is 12" diameter and (theoretically) it travels 6" forwar per revolution. It sort of works the same for boats but then they throw "mm's" (not the candy) into the equation and I get totally confused. So I ask, given a particular motor, what props are best for a boat weighting 'x' pounds and 'y' length, or tell them what boat it is.

BTW, Rich is a great person to talk to and listen to, he knows what he's talking about.
