worked on AP Wasp rpm numbers
Here are the numbers I got. I would like to see what everyone else is getting with these and or the Norvel/NV .061's
The prop is a APC 4.5 x 4 1/2A pylon prop. I have the stock plug on it.
Fuel RPM
5% 23,900 - 24,100
10% 24,300 - 24,500
20% 25,800 - 26,300
30% 26,900 - 27,400
I dont know what every else does for mods. this one has opened up carb, crank epoxyed, ground on (touched up) exhaust port raised and widened transfer up a hair.
Now could i expect more with a Galbreth (sp) head and nelson plug. I also didnt have any high nitro fuel to test at this time. I didnt touch the compression at all on this one.
