Wow i just read this entire thread. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss I had the same sort of ordeal On a trainer plane flying with a dx7 and an ar7000 rx. I watched in horror as my plane never responded to my commands and turned itself into a lawn dart. I checked the rx the battery and the tx and all seemed ok. That is untill I did a range check and found out my precious remote had lost its range. Since then I have shifted over to a jr9503 and Im glad I did. Dont get me wrong I think spektrum is an awesome remote and i believe the problem lies in the fact that I did an upgrade to my tx that has now turned it into a simulator remote. I accept full resposibility for my own misfortune.
