True, true. Plus some of their ''discontinued'' or very desireable models (Hummer, CC01, etc) go up in price as they become less available, and demand goes up. So you get a ''basic'' kit prices a lot higher than other kits out there. It's wacky sometimes.
i get the price of discontinued models being high on ebay.
its the prices on some of the current, and re-release stuff that's got me confused.
most often, i buy my rc's used. but with tamiy's, the used ones are no less expensive than the NIB kit.
guess ill just have to pony up some cash.
